Terms of use and sale

Last updated 29 August 2026

These terms are a contract between you and PixelBoard for PixelBoard. They are written for customers in the United Kingdom and also apply if you buy from elsewhere. Address: Trading address available on request by email.. Email: privacy@pixelboard.lol.

By using the site you agree to these terms, the privacy policy, cookie policy, and refunds policy. If you pay, you also agree to the sale terms below.

The product

PixelBoard is a live auction grid. Empty tiles start at $1. After a tile is bought, the next buyer of that tile must pay at least last price + $1, or more. You may pick tiles yourself or ask us to pick a compact block. Your logo is one image across the tiles you hold. Another buyer can outbid a single tile and punch a hole in that image. You stay on the public list. Rankings are dollars spent, not tile count.

Buying pixels

Opening the form does not lock tiles. Hitting Pay starts Stripe Checkout and holds those tiles for about 31 minutes. The first completed Stripe payment wins. If you cancel or the session expires, the hold is released. If someone else already holds or owns a tile, you cannot buy it at the old price.

Prices are shown in US dollars. Stripe charges your payment method. Taxes, if any, are added where the law requires. You must be 18 or over and authorised to use that payment method.

Immediate digital content

Pixels, the hold, and the logo placement are digital content / a digital service. They are supplied as soon as Stripe marks the payment paid. By paying you ask us to start that service at once and you acknowledge that you lose the 14-day cancellation right that UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 would otherwise give for distance contracts.

What you do not get

You do not get exclusive ownership of the internet, a trademark, or a promise that a tile stays yours forever. Anyone can outbid a tile. We may refuse or remove listings that are unlawful, hateful, or that impersonate others. We may pause the board for abuse, fraud, or maintenance.

Your content

You grant us a licence to show your name, logo, website, and tagline on PixelBoard so the board and directory work. You confirm you have the rights to that content. You must not upload illegal material.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that UK law does not allow us to limit, including death or personal injury from negligence, or fraud. For everything else, our liability for a purchase is limited to the amount you paid us for that purchase. The board is provided as a live competitive market. Outbids, holes in logos, and price changes are part of the service, not a defect.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. UK consumers keep any mandatory rights they have in the country where they live. If a court strikes one clause, the rest still apply.
