Cookie policy
Last updated 29 August 2026
This notice is for the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR. The EU ePrivacy rules are treated the same way if you visit from the EEA.
We only set cookies that are strictly necessary to run PixelBoard and take payment. We do not use advertising, analytics, or social-media cookies. Because of that, UK law does not require a “reject all” choice — we still tell you what we set.
Cookies we use
| Name | Why | How long | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| pw_sid | Keeps your board session so checkout, presence, and rate limits work. | 1 year | Strictly necessary |
| Stripe checkout cookies | Set by Stripe on checkout.stripe.com to take payment securely. | Set by Stripe | Strictly necessary |
Theme (light/dark) is stored in your browser’s local storage, not as a cookie. Saying OK on the cookie bar is also stored there so we do not show the bar again.
How to control cookies
You can block cookies in your browser. If you block the session cookie, checkout and the live visitor count may break. Stripe’s cookies are controlled on Stripe’s checkout page.
