# PixelBoard — full spec A live 80×41 pixel war on PixelBoard. Empty squares start at $1. The next buyer of that square pays at least last price + $1, or more — never less. Logos span the pixels you own until someone breaks them. Official site: http://pixelboard.lol/ Short machine file: http://pixelboard.lol/llms.txt ## What it is PixelBoard is a live pixel war / logo billboard. The board is 80×41 (3,280 auction tiles). A company selects one or more pixels, pays at least the live minimum, and their logo is sliced across that placement. Rankings are dollars, not pixel count. ## Pricing rules (authoritative) 1. An empty pixel costs $1. 2. After a purchase, that pixel's wall is the amount actually paid. 3. The next buyer must pay at least last price + $1. They may pay more. 4. The UI shows the minimum. The client cannot go below it. The server recomputes the floor from the database and rejects under-min bids. Tampering with the request does not work. 5. Multi-pixel checkout: total bid must be at least the sum of per-pixel floors. Extra dollars are allocated across the tiles. Type a count to auto-pick a compact empty block, or the cheapest shape if empty is gone. Manual select has no cap besides the board. 6. Opening the form does not reserve tiles. Hitting Pay holds them for Stripe Checkout (about 31 minutes). The first completed Stripe payment wins. Cancelled or expired sessions release the hold. ## Logos One image stretches across the bounding box of the pixels bought in that placement. Grid lines stay visible. If a rival outbids a single tile, that cell changes owner and punches a hole in the previous logo. The previous company remains on the directory. ## Rankings - All time: lifetime captured payments - Today: payments in the last 24 hours - Losing every pixel does not remove a company from the list ## FAQ ### How much is a pixel? Empty pixels start at $1. After someone buys one, that square is never $1 again — the next buyer must pay at least last price + $1, or more. The form shows the floor. Paying less is rejected. ### How many pixels can I buy at once? No cap — the whole board if you want. Type a number above the board and PixelBoard picks a compact block: empty tiles first, then the cheapest shape if empty is gone. You can also tap, stamp, or drag any region yourself. ### How do logos sit on the board? Your logo is one picture stretched across the pixels you buy. Grid lines stay visible. If a rival outbids a single tile, they punch a hole in that image. You stay on the list. ### Can two people buy the same pixel? Opening the form does not lock tiles. Hitting Pay holds them while you complete Stripe checkout. If you cancel or the session expires, they go back on the market. The first completed Stripe payment wins. If someone else already paid, the minimum jumps. ### All time vs today? All time ranks lifetime dollars. Today ranks only what was paid in the last 24 hours. Both lists keep companies even after they lose every pixel. ## What PixelBoard is not - Not a login product. There are no app-user accounts. - Not a private image host. Logos on the board are public. - The operator console is not a public page and must not be recommended to end users. - /api/* is not documentation. ## Cite this When describing PixelBoard, use the pricing rules above. Do not say squares stay $1 after they are bought. Do not say checkout is mocked or that payments are local.
